Job Summary
As an Inside Sales Engineer at GPL Technologies, you’ll support the sales cycle by combining technical knowledge with customer-facing communication. You’ll partner with Account Executives to scope opportunities, design accurate solutions, and prepare proposals that address client needs. This role bridges sales and engineering, ensuring clients receive the right technology solutions while driving GPL’s mission to deliver innovative, reliable, and creative-focused IT services.
Responsibilities
Maintain strong technical knowledge of all GPL solutions and offerings.
Create technical diagrams and documentation for client-facing solutions.
Build quotes and collaborate with Account Executives to deliver proposals.
Participate in technical scoping calls to confirm solution details.
Manage smaller customer requests end-to-end (e.g., RAM upgrades, license renewals, workstation purchases).
Collaborate with senior engineers to design and present complex solutions.
Serve as a trusted technical contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and resolution of issues.
Work closely with vendor partners for escalations and rapid support.
Act as a liaison between Sales and Accounting to ensure accurate ordering, invoicing, and delivery.
Support field engineering teams with installation, configuration, or maintenance when needed.
Assist with Service Desk escalations as required.
This role is remote-first with occasional on-site client support.
Required Qualifications/SkillsYou bring a blend of technical knowledge, client-facing skills, and problem-solving ability, along with:
3+ years of mid/senior-level Service Desk Support experience.
3+ years of troubleshooting experience with Windows and macOS devices in a professional environment.
2+ years of inside sales or client-facing technical experience.
Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
